The pics of this listing exhibit the two coins that are for sale. These coins are the last remaining coins from a reward from catching a Yeti in the northern most reaches of Northwest Territories. The YETI had a tan look to it, and resembled a cooler. In fact, it was a cooler. The reward came from a couple financially wealthy call writers out of Chicago's Lake View neighborhood who were on a fishing trip. In fact, the call writers' main intent of their fishing trip centered on chasing a gold-striped Canada trout lion, which is a small endangered big cat germane to the smilodon of the late Pleistocene. The call writers were early adopters of the YETI brand, and they had made big money selling puts on the price of gold during the run-up to the metal's peak in 2011. So off they went searching for the gold-striped trout lion with their first edition YETI Sherpa. So along came I, myself on an adventure of sorts, testing the sub arctic waters of the infamous Great Bear Lake... infamous for causing the retraction of even the largest of mens' gonads at the mere whiff of the wind which wailed while we walked in the welcome sunlight. We were a group of swimmers on a training trip to Canada during the summer. One afternoon while standing on a boulder by the lake in the warm sunshine we ditched our suits, one by one, and tossed them in the water before leaping from the rock into the deep. The color of the suits hid behind the chaos of the splashing in the azure of the lake. A moment later I looked to my left and saw what appeared to be a buoy or a flotation device. I looked around and saw that everyone was still up and about and living life, so I dropped below the surface and swam to the buoy-like object. "It's a cooler," said. "It's a YETI!" I heard one of the guys shout from the rock. I felt a little cold now, and a little thrilled, and a little concerned. "Grab it!" I heard. I looked back at the rock. One by one, everyone filed out of the water and stood on the rocks by the shore, retracted gonads and all. As I swam to the shore I scooped up all the suits that floated on the surface and placed them in the YETI as I kicked and hustled to shore. We all cheered when I got to shore, and just then, as I opened the case... the cooler... the YETI!... Shivering, I said under my breath, "It's a YETI!" Out of the sky appeared a giant bird... with talons... and it shrieked as it took ahold of the tan plastic YETI. And at the moment, unlike any moment before or since, the YETI opened up, and a great sound roared as the seal loosened and the lid lifted. I grabbed that YETI and held on with my legs as the big bird lifted the yeti and me off the ground, retracted gonads and all. The difference between birds and men is that birds don't understand the value of a comfortable suit. The boys on the team, having seen this event occurring, and being the supreme athletes that they all were-- and are today--, exhibited a mental toughness and clarity that astounds the most badass angels in Heaven. The men sneaked to the heights of the boulders nearby; and one by one, the men stood on each others shoulders, retracted gonads and all. In flight, I was able to reach into the yeti and grab a couple speedos. I tied the speedos to my feet and then reached into the yeti and grabbed a couple more. I then pulled my legs to my chest and tied the speedos on my feet to the handle on the cooler. As the bird and I approached the guys, I let go of the cooler with my hands. Immediately my gonads descended and I let out a roar that deafened the screech of the bird, and my head hung low. With my arms, as we closed in on the guys standing as a team on the rock, I reached as far as I could and clasped hands with the human tower. The bird screeched again and simultaneously a powerful force lifted and a powerful force fell, causing everyone to drop to the ground. We all lived. We took the cooler with us. Last year, I got a phone call from a young gal in Austin who sounded very beautiful over the phone. We talked. "I see," I said. "They want to what?... Yeah, I'd be more than happy to do that. They want what? Seriously?... I don't know. I mean, it's a nice cooler, don't get me wrong, but... Are you shitting me? Sure. I mean, yes, yes, let's do it." So the owners of the cooler, who happened to be family friends of Roy and Ryan Seiders, the founders of YETI, said that the cooler was special for some reason and insisted they get it back and tracked the cooler back to me after them having returned to Canada to find it. And, they said that they would buy it back from me for a brand new Panga duffle bag full of 2017 Canadian minted silver maple leaf coins. So here we are! The last... two... coins.
